John S. Batanides, Jr., Partner

John is an industry veteran, a creative problem solver and a strategic thinker. As co-founder and partner of FOCUS Property Advisors, LLC, he specializes in land acquisition, development and retail tenant representation. John began his career as a principal in a regional chain of health and fitness centers. In 1993, he joined Lat Purser & Associates, where he spent 14 years in retail brokerage, tenant representation and development, and also ran the company’s retail brokerage team. John is married with three children and attends Forest Hill Church.

G. Thomas “Tommy” Trimble, III, Partner

Tommy co-founded FOCUS Property Advisors with a commitment to deliver exceptional results for clients while upholding only the highest level of integrity. As co-founder and partner, he specializes in land acquisition, retail tenant representation and retail sales and leasing. Tommy is a graduate of North Carolina State University. He began his career at First Union National Bank as a financial analyst. In 2001, he joined Lat Purser & Associates, Inc., where he spent six years in retail brokerage and leasing, and land brokerage. He is an avid outdoorsman, a novice triathlete, a golfer, and a volunteer coach for the West Cabarrus YMCA youth basketball and coach pitch baseball programs.  Tommy is a member of Grace Covenant Church and a proud father of three boys.

Thomas Ralston, Brokerage Associate

Thomas joined FOCUS Property Advisors in 2007. He specializes in retail site selection and in-fill residential site selection. Formerly a development assistant with Lat Purser & Associates, Inc., Thomas holds a B.A. in economics from Hampden-Sydney College. He is a member of Myers Park Presbyterian Church and the Hampden-Sydney Alumni Council, a sports fan, and an outdoorsman.
